Eric Conway: Morgan State University Fine and Performing Arts Department Now Displaying Faculty Art Through April 30 at James E. Lewis Museum

Dr. Eric Conway writes:

Hello Everyone,

On last Thursday, the Fine and Performing Arts Department held an opening reception for the Morgan Faculty exhibition April 4-30, 2017.  Of course our faculty displays their art annually for our community to see, however, I believe that his year, given the sesquicentennial celebration, the works and display of work are even more special.

Artists include faculty from the past and present including:  current faculty - Eric Briscoe, Edwin Calderon, Ismael Carillo, Mary Cloonan, E. Blasie DePaolo, Iman Djouini, Lori Johnson,  and Guy Jones; and former Morgan faculty -  Joseph Ford, and Sam Holmes, Patrick McGuire, and Kenneth Royster.

The exhibition runs thru Sunday, April 30, 2017.  If you would like to see some excellent contemporary Art by some very talented local artists who happen to teach at Morgan State University, drop by the James E Lewis Gallery for a superb display of Fine Art.

See a link below from the museum website that has much of the art of the exhibition which should entice you to see in person!
