Laurel Zucker & John Cozza: Flute & Piano Music by Composers of African Descent, Vol. 2: Joseph Bologne, William Grant Still, David N. Baker, Julio Racine & Undine Moore

Flutist Laurel Zucker and pianist John Cozza are joined on Volume 2 by cellist Jia-Mo Chen.  The label is again Cantilena Records, whose website lists several online retailers which have the CD available:

Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-George is represented by two movements of his Sonata III in G Minor and two movements of his Sonata II in A Major, Opus 1a.

William Grant Still's works are Two Cameos, Picnic With Sheilah and Procession of the Ants, as well as Mother and Child and Gamin.

David N. Baker is represented by Six Poemes Noir.

Julio Racine has contributed Vodoo Jazz Sonata in three movements.

Undine Eliza Anna Smith Moore is represented by her four-movement Afro American Suite for flute, cello and piano.
