Dear Mr. Zick,

VCCA (Virginia Center for the Creative Arts) has fully-funded fellowships available for African-American composers.

The fellowships are for residencies at VCCA — one of the three largest working colony for artists in the county. Winning applicants receive residencies ranging from 3 to 5 weeks and include private studios, private bedrooms and fully-prepared meals, as well as a $500 stipend. All in the company of approximately 24 other artists, writers and composers from across the US and around the world.

The deadline to apply is May 15.
