Ø African-American Read In: Saturday, 23 February, 1:00 pm, Carter G. Woodson Library, 9525 South Halsted. Nonfiction, fiction and poetry by Black writers will be read. We welcome readers. This event is sponsored by the Chicago Chapter of the National Writers Union, Regina Harris Baiocchi and Karen Ford, curators. A reception with refreshments follows. Ø Womanist Read In: March date, time, venue: to be announced. Womanist/Feminist nonfiction, fiction and poetry will be read.
