The Afro-Cuban classical guitarist, composer and conductor Leo Brouwer (b. 1939) is profiled at AfriClassical.com. On August 9, 2011 Zoho Records will release the Havana String Quartet's CD of Leo Brouwer's String Quartets and String Trio. Amazon.com says the ensemble was “founded in 1980 on the initiative of Leo Brouwer.”
