“A native of Petersburg, Virginia, Mr. McCoy is a graduate of Virginia State University where he earned the Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and the Master of Music in Church Music from Shenandoah Conservatory. He resides in the Metro D. C. area where he is active as a musician and has published reviews on Kathleen Battle, Morris Robinson and Derek Lee Ragin. Currently, he serves as Minister of Music at Takoma Park Baptist Church.”
