Enjoy the intersection of professional and young performers when members of The Capital City Symphony join with the talented Young Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra to celebrate America's musical legacy. The program will highlight the connections among African-American and European-American composers and feature pieces by George Walker, William Grant Still and Aaron Copland. Conductor Victoria Gau will illuminate the musical intersections in lively conversation with the audience.
