'Two Venetian Frescoes' of Egyptian Composer Mohammed Fairouz (b. 1985) in NYC Nov. 10, 6 PM

Flutist Laura Falzon is a major force in Intercultural Music, and has commissioned and premiered numerous works for flute. She and Pianist Steve Beck will perform “Two Venetian Frescoes” for flute and piano, of the Egyptian composer Mohammed Fairouz (b. 1985), along with works of Erwin Schulhoff, J.S. Bach, Hans Werner Henze and Franz Schubert, in a program presented by “Music at St. Paul's” and Columbia University in the City of New York, at St. Paul's Chapel, Amsterdam Ave at 117th St, New York City on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, 6:00 p.m.
